Marriage Builder's Ministry

Marriage-Builders-Ministry
Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. (Psalm 127:1)

The goal of the Marriage Builder's Ministry is to equip us all with wisdom from the Word of God on how we can "Enjoy our Marriage". Marriage is not easy! Most of us were “in love” when we planned our weddings, only to find out sometime after the honeymoon that this blessed union takes effort. Not that we no longer have love, but sometimes our frustration makes it difficult to feel love for our spouse. We are opposites, we were brought up differently, some of us lacked godly or even a good worldly role model. Many couples have vastly different values and ideas of what a marriage is and what their roles are in the marriage. Our desire is to help all marriages focus on the only sustainable foundation for a healthy relationship, the Lord Himself! He is the Foundation that keeps us together.

Marriage Builder’s Class

Through our 5 session Marriage Builder’s Class we will cover topics such as:

  • Family Foundations
  • Love & Respect
  • Resolving Conflict
  • Finances
  • Parenting

Home Bible Study Fellowships

Home groups form every fall to study God’s Word together through a chapter by chapter study in a book or set of books from the Bible. These groups meet regularly on Mondays and Fridays (you sign up for one or the other) beginning in September and ending in June. During this time, we grow closer to the Lord, closer to our mates, and closer to our brothers & sisters in Christ, becoming more mature in our Christian faith.

Throughout the year there will also be:

  • Couple's Potlucks
  • Special guest events
  • Couple's Coffee Fellowships
  • Retreat weekend at a nice hotel or an all day seminar
  • Valentine's Dinner

We hope you can join us and find refreshment and ministry at some of our events.

Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. (Proverbs 24:3,4)
