Awana is an organization, based in Chicago, and founded in 1941, that leads children and youth to a relationship with Christ. It involves parents, volunteers and church leaders in a collaborative effort to develop the spiritual strength of these kids while they attend their home churches.
According to a recent national survey, 92.7 percent of alumni who attended Awana for at least 6 years continue to attend church as adults.
There are currently more than one million kids ages 2 to 18 participating in Awana, at over 18,000 churches, internationally, on a weekly basis. Please visit the homepage of Awana of Calvary Chapel Corona for information on how to become involved.
Calvary Chapel Corona supports Don and Debi Isaacs monthly, who are missionaries of Awana in Outreach & Church Care in our area.
